About Our Churches

Who We Are

Bethany and East Lemonweir Lutheran Churches are two distinctly different congregations who work on the mission of Christ in the world both together and individually.

Both congregations care deeply for the world God made and our local communities. Some of the many things we support throughout the year include helping with the Touched Twice Clinic, Coats for Kids, Christmas Toy Workshop, Food Pantry, Health

Kits, Bible Camp, World Hunger, Malaria Campaign, and Lutheran Social Services.

We also enjoy many things for fun and community! We enter floats in the Waddu Shudda parade, have a Halloween Party (complete with a cememtery walk after dark!), enjoy Syttende Mai, Suppers, Reformation celebrations, and an annual Choir Cantata just to name a few!

Our children are one of our greatest joys in our churches and we have great events throughout the year with them!
